Elon Musk seems to be in talks with well-known AI researcher to create a new chatbot
According to a recent report from The Information, Elon Musk allegedly approaches AI experts to create an AI chatbot similar to ChatGPT of OpenAI.
Based on the claim, Elon approached the billionaire tech entrepreneur Igor Babuschkin. Igor is known as the AI researcher who worked on Alphabet’s DeepMind AI, concerning a new research lab.
In 2015, Elon co-founded OpenAI to monitor AI development and serve as its chairman. After three years, he stepped down while concerns regarding a conflict of interest arise.

The CEO of Twitter seems to closely monitor tech trends as he is trying to adapt to the global AI race. The publication said he has been discussing with Igor about forming an AI team. Nevertheless, it is reportedly in its early stages, with no concrete plans to develop specific products.
In addition, The Information says Babucshkin is not an official member of the project yet. He and Elon have not elaborated further on the news at the time of writing.
Yet, the SpaceX CEO has been busy with other technological developments. For example, Starlink recently enabled satellite internet access to the Philippines.
Elon’s Tesla company has been developing new features for the upcoming Cybertruck. Recent photos show that the company applied a black tonneau cowl to the futuristic-looking vehicle.
Several critics said the minor change makes the car look “extra refined.” This could be a sign that the Cybertruck will launch soon.
On February 26, Elon Musk tweeted “new metal,” pertaining to his recently filed patent. The document describes the metal as an “ultra-hard cold-worked steel alloy.”

This just means that Tesla could be emphasizing the steel’s hardness. Cold-working involves heating metal at extreme temperatures and then rapidly cooling or quenching it.
Subsequently, it could improve the steel’s durability and save time and production costs.
With all of this AI tech and the debacle happening with Twitter, Elon surely has a lot on his plate. Not to mention how he defended a racist cartoonist. Yikes.
