Angel Latorre is mystifying in her Miss Teen International 2023 national costume
Young but definitely oozing with potential, Angel Latorre is doing an excellent job at this year’s Miss Teen International competition. The Philippine representative has been a consistent performer and is acing all the pre-pageant activities.
An example is her dominating the swimsuit competition.
Another one is her national costume. Taking inspiration from the many, varied regional traditions of the country, Angel is definitely soaring high with what she has to offer.

Showcasing the legendary bird of the Maranao people, Angel’s national costume is inspired by the Sarimanok. A creation of designers Jeomel Lamparero Jaleco and Ruffy Itaas, the piece is described as: “Magnificent, Iconic and an Explosion of Colors!“

Truly vibrant and beautiful, the outfit features a mestiza bodice with intricate beadwork and traditional textile patterns. Additionally, it has a complimenting headpiece which also carries an elaborate design.
Last but not least, a pair of feathered wings and a fan add further elegance and complete the look.
Miss Teen International 2023 is currently taking place in Cambodia with its coronation night happening on June 24. Already in its fourth edition, Angel is aiming to take home the country its first ever crown.
