Designed by the Filipino visionary — Thian Rodriguez, you cannot just ignore his provocative and edgy ensemble, with it being the country’s hottest leather moment of late.
THIAN Rodriguez Manila is a Philippine-based independent fashion label that specializes in leather garments. Under the creative direction of Thian Rodriguez, who has a background in Fashion Design, Theatre Arts, and Multimedia Application, his profound love for art can be noted through his works and contributions to the fashion industry. He started his career in the industry after winning the 2015 Red Box Design Talents Apparel Category. He bagged the award among the 14 finalists, selected from over 140 talented designers. According to Rodriguez, he is inspired to create garments for beautiful and bold women who are not afraid to express themselves. Since then, our favorite local stars have worn many of his works, personifying his goal.
THIAN’s HOT leather ensemble
From their recent Spring-Summer 2022 Capsule Collection, THIAN Rodriguez Manila launched edgy and fashion-forward leather ensembles that elevate the Philippine fashion scene. Two-piece choker gown and dress with a twist of risqué elements such as bondage-like buckles with metal detailing all around the arms, bodice, and skirts. These are the iconic leather ensembles and it’s making a fashion statement of late!
Along with Kylie Versoza, Mimiyuuh blessed the red carpet of the 2022 Mega Ball with edginess and glamour. She donned the same leather ensemble with a longer skirt version of kylie’s that matches perfectly with her Marc Jacobs Kiki boots. Thian leather ensemble is indeed as HOT as the Kiki boots and it deserves international exposure!
