These two fan favorites have rocked the media with speculations of their seemingly blooming romance. And we’re actually not complaining. The fans tried to back up the rumors with some ‘clues’. Let’s look at them.
The pop star has a crush
The earliest possible fragment to this mystery is way back in 2015.
Selena appeared on Watch What Happens Live. She addressed a number of questions, one of which was about her Hollywood crush.
“I kind of have a crush on Chris Evans. Isn’t he cute? He’s very cute. He’s either going to hate me or love me.”

As of Friday, October 8, Selena does not follow Chris on Instagram but he does follow her account. It is unclear when he added her.
Film together?
The rumors also state the two are working together on a film. Nevertheless, this claim has not been verified.
Coming out of the same restaurant?
Images of the two stars appearing separately were posted by a Selenator‘s Twitter account on October 1. They claimed that “Chris Evans and Selena Gomez were spotted leaving the same restaurant.”
However, the photo of Gomez was actually taken in November 2017 outside a Pilates studio in Los Angeles. In addition, the photo literally shows a sign behind her that reads “Pilates.”
On the other hand, the photo posted with the actor shows him about to enter an SUV while carrying a cardboard box. It was shot in October 2013 elsewhere in the city.
Other tweets regarding this matter appeared minutes after posting the first tweet. Two more images were shared by another Selenator Twitter account. The caption read,
“Chris Evans and Selena Gomez seen leaving the same studio in LA (Oct.1st).”
Unfortunately, the first pic, showing Selena was taken outside a recording studio in Los Angeles on October 1, 2019.
The photo of Chris, a Boston native, wearing a raglan shirt, black jeans, a Boston Red Sox cap, and a New England Patriots mask. It shows him exiting a hotel in London in July 2020.
Actually, the story behind this photo is that it was photographed at the same location at the same time with Cinderella actress Lily James. who wore a light cardigan over a pink printed shirt and cropped black jeans.
That day, the two, dressed in the same outfits, were also photographed walking together. They were eating Flake ice cream cones at a London park.
Nonetheless, Chris and Lily never confirmed romance rumors about them.
