Phoebe Buffay getting all savage in one episode: The One where Heckles dies
Everyone on FRIENDS recognizes Phoebe Buffay as one of the most amazing female characters for her coolness, savagery, and general awesomeness. In one Friends episode, she clearly goes to town on Ross. Mr. Heckles’s death occurs in the second season. The episode is great because she uses all of Ross’s theories and the development of his beliefs as fodder for a roast. This is a really fun episode to watch.
Season 2: The one where Phoebe Buffay gets all savage
” Well, it’s not so much that you know, like I don’t believe in it, you know, it’s just… I don’t know, lately I get the feeling that I’m not so much being pulled down as I am being pushed.”
Phoebe Buffay
This is the scene that we are familiar with, in which Ross argues with Phoebe about evolution, and Phoebe does not buy it. The conversation then shifts to a more humorous tone despite its more serious subject matter. Phoebe Buffay made a spectacular comeback. That left the group so entertain by watching the two debate about it.
“So now, the real question is, who put those fossils there, and why?”
Phoebe Buffay
This is Phoebe and Ross’s fight at Mr. Heckles’s apartment. The place where Ross has gone to great lengths to explain evolution to Phoebe. The process of finding fossils and the locations where they were unearthed. On the other hand, the savage Phoebe Buffay was listening intently so that she could ask Ross a funny follow-up question.
“Are you telling me that you are so unbelievably arrogant that you can’t admit that there’s a teeny tiny possibility that you could be wrong about this?”
Phoebe Buffay
Phoebe decided that she had heard enough of Ross arguing his case in the scene. It is the segment in which Phoebe does a kind of flip and gives Ross an even explanation of everything. It is time for her to have a major comeback and gaslight him all the way to the core after she has succeeded in making Ross give in and abandon his entire belief. Bringing Ross’s guilt into question.
These scenes are hilarious enough of roasting Ross and Phoebe Buffay being Phoebe herself.
