Building a skincare routine with Face Republic’s Daytime Weightless and Night Radiating Serum Set
Before I talk about Face Republic’s Daytime Weightless and Night Radiating Serum Set, let me put out a disclaimer that I don’t know anything about skincare nor do I have a skincare routine. I would usually wake up in the morning, jump in the shower, do my make-up, and I’m ready for the day. Although I would use a moisturizer once in a while, it did not become a constant in my routine. The reasons behind this would either be a) it makes my face oilier than it already is, or b) I don’t have time to buy another one due to my busy schedule. Sure, my sisters would always note how clear my skin would remain. But, sometimes, ‘clear’ skin does not equate to healthy skin.

This serum duo works together – one for daytime and another one for nighttime. According to the product brief, these two work together to revive the skin’s youthful glow, catering to your morning and evening skin needs.
The Hydro Boost Solution Serum remains deeply hydrating and sensitive-skin friendly. Aside from that, it also has a power combo of seven Hyaluronic Acids. This gives the skin a smooth, healthy, and plump look. Plus, an anti-wrinkle superstar, Adenosine.
Shifting over to the Vita Capsule Luminous Serum, this brightens uneven skin tone. Aside from that, this also heals acne marks and dark spots. With its capsulized Jojoba Seed Oil and Vitamins, the skin will look healthy and dewy with a brighter and more radiant complexion.
As of this writing on Tuesday, June 29, I have only started using Face Republic’s Daytime Weightless and Night Radiating Serum Set for one whole day. Although I have yet to see changes, I do love the way it feels on my skin.
For a little bit of context, I have oily skin – on my face, at least. After doing make-up, my face would usually become oilier and oilier as the day progresses. When using skincare products, my face would become oilier faster than it does when I don’t use any. This has become one of the reasons why I don’t have a skincare routine. Because it’s hard to invest in a product in fear that it wouldn’t work and the money that I used to buy it will just go down the drain.
However, I am starting to think that I could achieve a whole skincare routine with Face Republic’s Daytime Weightless and Night Radiating Serum Set. The morning serum has a light consistency that doesn’t make my face feel heavy, unlike others that I have tried using before. And, I’ve used make-up over it and although my face still becomes shiny, it’s dewier than it is oily.
The night serum, on the other hand, made me excited. I don’t have any qualms about using skincare products during the night. You’re going to sleep – it’s not like somebody’s going to judge you for having an oily face through the night. However, I wake up – my face feels smooth and plump, despite only using this specific serum to bed.
Currently, Face Republic’s Daytime Weightless and Night Radiating Serum Set is a must-have for me. I will edit this article for updates regarding my skincare journey.
UPDATE: Thursday, July 1, 2021
I prefer the nighttime serum than I do the daytime one but I do love them both. I wouldn’t specifically say that the Hydro Boost Solution Serum targets all the wrinkles. However, due to the hydrating properties it has, it helps plump up the skin. Of course, this would make the skin look less wrinkly. After showering, I would put two pumps in my palms and rub them all over my face and neck. Although it takes time, it absorbs quite nicely into the skin. It feels very good. If you pat your face after applying it, it does feel a little bit sticky. But, for me, it’s fine. It also leaves the skin super glowy after that.
