Xiaomi officially launched global version Redmi Note 9s
Through an online launch, tech giant Xiaomi was able to release the Redmi Note 9s right on schedule. The mobile brand continues to grow as it posted a significant growth despite the overall smartphone sales weakened. Redmi Note 9s has beastly design, specs, and cameras!
The Redmi Note 9s arrives in a stylish two-toned finish in three stunning colors: Interstellar Grey, Aurora Blue, and Glacier White colors. This smartphone is also perfect for rainy season here in our country as it features P2i water splash resistance. You can see in front that it has a huge 6.67-inch 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 5 screen with FHD+ resolution. Meanwhile, there’s a punch-hole in the upper-middle part for the selfie camera.
BATTERY AND CHIPSET
As for the internals, the device runs by an 8nm Snapdragon 720G octa-core processor that is paired with 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. Surprisingly the Redmi Note 9S has a microSD slot that can cater up to 256GB. It also has a beefy 5,020mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. Xiaomi also added a 22.5W charger in the package.
CAMERAS
For cameras, it sports a quad-camera set-up as most mid-range devices do. It is composed of a Samsung-made 48MP shooter paired, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor camera. You can capture photos using its 16MP front camera.
PRICE
The Redmi Note 9S in all color and variants will be available on May 8, 2020 at Xiaomi’s authentic Shopee and Lazada stores with a starting price of PHP 10,490 for the 4GB/64GB and PHP 11,990 for the 8GB/128GB variant. Once the lockdown lifted the unit will be soon available throughout the Mi Authorized stores nationwide.
