Miss Charm Pageant to debut in Vietnam next year

After a series of setbacks, Miss Charm is finally ready to debut and find its first-ever queen. Taking place next year in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the announcement was made through a social media post.

The preliminary competition is set to happen on February 13 while its much-awaited finals will be on February 16.

Founded in 2019 as Miss Charm International, the pageant faced many delays brought on by the ongoing pandemic. Following its rebranding as simply Miss Charm, it wasn’t until this year that things started to materialize.

Holding its first press conference on November 17, the organization shared new and exciting details about the upcoming competition. Providing 5-star services throughout the pageant, Miss Charm is expecting to attract and surprise global pageant fans.

Contestants are expected to arrive by February 3 and will be thrust into various activities. This includes advice and training under some of the world’s leading beauty pageant experts.

During the finals, eight special awards will be given away. This includes Best in social media, Best in Ao Dai (Traditional Vietnamese outfit), Best in Swimsuit, Best in Evening Gown, and Best in National Costume. As well as Miss Photogenic, Miss Tourism, and Miss Blockcharm. It was also revealed that the winner will receive a cash prize estimated at $100,000.

Furthermore, Miss Charm is looking for a beauty queen who will be their voice and figure worldwide. Particularly through its mission of highlighting education, tradition, and tourism. Aiming to achieve this distinction is Annabelle McDonell, Miss Charm Philippines 2023.

Appointed last November 8, Annabelle is the current Miss Universe Philippines 2022 1st runner-up.
