Lady Gaga’s ‘Stupid Love’ MV was shot using iPhone 11 Pro
The Mother Monster is back with a BANG! Today, February 28, Lady Gaga released her latest single, Stupid Love, with a music video to go along with it. But here’s the shocking truth — the video was shot entirely on an iPhone 11 Pro.
Apple also highlighted the release of the music video by sharing a short clip from it on its own YouTube channel with the ‘Shot on iPhone’ branding.
A day prior to the launching, the award-winning pop icon teased her more than 80 million followers on the much-awaited release, referencing referenced Apple’s “Shot on iPhone” campaign. Since its release, Apple has shared a new Shot on iPhone video on its YouTube channel, highlighting the release of the MV to cross-promote the new song and partnership.
However, this is not the first time Apple has partnered with a pop star for a music video. In fact, last year, Selena Gomez partnered with Apple for two of her music videos — Lose You to Love Me and Look at Her Now, both of which were shot on the iPhone 11 Pro to promote its cameras and low-light capabilities.
Stupid Love marks the return of Gaga to the spotlight after a nearly three-year hiatus. Her last single, The Cure, was released in April 2017. In the interim, Gaga starred in and penned tracks for the film A Star is Born and inked a two-year concert residency at Park MGM in Las Vegas.
