Creamline advances to Semifinals after handing the first defeat of Choco Mucho

Creamline Cool Smashers won over Choco Mucho Flying Titans on their last game last August 4. This game has become the talk over the past games in Premier Volleyball League 2021. The game between the greatest women volleyball players in the past UAAP seasons. Of course, this includes Bea De Leon, Maddie Madayag, Deanna Wong, Denden Lazaro–Revilla, Kat Tolentino, and Pauline Gaston from Choco Mucho. While Creamline brought Alyssa Valdez, Michele Gumabao, Diana Mae Carlos, Jeanette Panaga, Risa Sato, and Jia Morado.

The game finished after five sets recording 18-25, 25-9, 21-25, 25-18, 15-6 favored Creamline. Choco Mucho excitingly claimed the first set. However, Cool Smashers cut the momentum and had a comeback with amazing offenses and defenses. Making a large gap with 16 points.

Creamline highlights of the game:

Meanwhile, Cool Smashers recorded amazing performances in the play. Alyssa became the Player of the Game with her 22 points, 18 attacks, 1 block, and 3 aces. She also recorded 23 digs and 12 receptions. Not to mention her amazing single block. What can you expect from The Phenom?

Also, Michele contributed 19 points, 17 attacks, and 16 excellent digs. As well as Jia who ended the game with her service aces showered 37 excellent aces. Together with Jia, Risa’s quick attacks claimed 12 points and 2 aces. Tots (Diana) kept the team spirit with 16 points and 12 excellent receptions. Last but not the least, Jeanette with 13 points and 6 blocks.

Choco Mucho highlight of the game:

Of course, the team on the other court showed as a real game. Choco Mucho’s players proved to us their true powers starting with Kat who led the team. She scored 14 attacks and 2 blocks for 16 points. Deanna with 33 excellent sets and 20 digs and Maddie sets 12 points and 6 kill blocks. Pauline provided the team with 11 points and 10 receptions. And Arocha Regine granted Choco Mucho 18 excellent digs and 12 receptions.

Although Choco Mucho received their first defeat, the team assures to get their spotlight again. Their next game against Petro Gazz Angels is on Friday.
