2020 is definitely for KathNiel comeback, announces new film ‘After Forever’
Where are the KathNiel fans at?
After making their much-awaited comeback via Paymaya’s newest campaign Balikbayad, the country’s favorite couple Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla set to make their big screen comeback via Star Cinema’s After Forever. Of course, this will be under the direction of box-office director Cathy Garcia-Molina and written by Carmi Raymundo.
In fact, After Forever will reportedly be shot in San Francisco, USA. Slated for a mid-2020 release, it will be Direk Cathy’s second-to-the-last movie before taking a break.
Kathryn previously worked with Direk Cathy in the movie Hello, Love Goodbye, which became the highest grossing Filipino film of all time. In the said film, the award-winning actress teamed up with GMA Network star Alden Richards.

The Box-office Trio is back
Meanwhile, KathNiel last film with Direk Cathy was The Hows of Us.
“Obviously, love story siya. But, of course, with the promise na this will be something different,” Direk Cathy revealed.
“The only thing we can share without preempting the movie is sa San Francisco siya naka-set,” she added.
Meanwhile, Kathryn is very excited to reunite with her on-and-off screen partner Daniel, as well as with the legendary director and screenwriter. “We’re very, very excited. Noong 2019, wala kaming project together. Finally, babalik na kami ng big screen with Direk Cathy again, and Ate Carms.”
On the other hand, Daniel assured that this film will be different from their other movies, tackling realistic scenarios.
“Mabigat ‘yung pelikula tsaka mahirap. Pero maganda ‘yung pelikula, talagang reality. Hindi pa nakukuwento [sa ibang pelikula],” Daniel shared.
