Yam Concepcion gets surprised by husbands 6-year-old wedding vow

Yup! Yam Concepcion‘s husband wrote his wedding bow six years ago. On July 24, Yam and her longtime non-showbiz boyfriend Miguel Cuunjieng tied the knot. The intimate civil ceremony took place in Chelsea, Manhattan’s downtown district, where they had their first date in New York City.

In a wedding, the exchange of wedding vows is one of the most emotional parts of the ceremony. It’s where the couple expresses their love and promise to their partner. Yam Concepcion vows.

“Thank you for accepting and loving me as I am, thank you for asking me to marry you. Thank you also for loving Tiny. I love you with my everything. You’re the one I want to love completely and forever.”

Her husband then said.

“I vow that at times I will fail and fall short, but I won’t ever give up and I will never stop prioritizing your happiness.”

What made everyone surprised and emotional was an envelope containing Miguel’s 6-year-old vow. He wrote it way back on July 27, 2015. The year 2015, when Miguel handed the envelope to Yam. Moreover, Miguel’s wedding vow had been with Yam for six years, and Yam had no idea. They have been in a long-distance relationship since 2014. Miguel must have known from the beginning that he was ready to get married to Yam.

Yam and Miguel have been engaged since 2018 when they confirmed their engagement on June 23.

Concepcion took to Instagram on July 26 to reveal official photographs from their wedding.

Yam express gratitude to Miguel’s family

In an Instagram post, Yam revealed that she will never forget the first time she met Miguel’s family.

“While I often thank Miguel for all the amazing things he has done for me, I think it’s just as important to take the time to thank the incredible family that he comes from.”
