Three former Miss Universe winners to host Miss Universe PH 2022
Three of our favorite universal queens set to reunite in the Philippines! Miss Universe Philippines 2022 will feature not one, not two, but three queens as hosts. Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzback will host the event alongside Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere, and Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Tebow.

The coronation night will set at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday, April 30. The Miss Universe Philippines Organization announced these on their official social media pages. Aside from that, current titleholder Harnaaz Sandhu will also grace the event. In an interview with MUO President Paula Shugart, she confirmed that the Philippines remains one of Harnaaz’s stops during her international travels.
With only a month before the finals, the competition for the next titleholder starts to become fiercer!
As part of its pre-pageant activities, the candidates undergo a series of online challenges. Ghenesis Latugat of Baguio City takes the first spot for the fashion and runway challenges. Completing the Top 3 includes her runners-up Chantal Schmidt of Cebu City and Angelica Lopez of Palawan.
Ghenesis also joined other challenge winners. Of course, these include Mandaue’s Isabel Luche for the headshots. Bohol’s Pauline Amelinckx for the introduction videos also joined her. Aside from them, Taguig’s Katrina Llegado for the swimsuit challenge also remains present.
The winner of Miss Universe Philippines 2022 will succeed Miss Universe Philippines 2021, and Miss Universe 2021 Top 5 finalist Beatrice Gomez.
