Shopee leads online votes for Online Shopping App of the Year

Shopee leads the game! On December 5, Village Pipol launched VP Choice Awards (VPCA) which is an award-giving body recognizing the prime and supreme in three major categories: Travel, Lifestyle and Entertainment.

The page became the most trending topic on Facebook in the first three days after its launch in the country. During those three days, the VP Choice Awards Facebook page had more than 5-million online reach and more than 40-thousand organic likes and follows.

Last December 3, VP Choice Awards has unveiled its official list of nominees during their VPCA 2019: The Grand Reveal, hosted by Sky Quizon and Angela Alarcon. Village Pipol Choice Awards presents this award to the online shopping mobile application where consumers find exactly what they want where it no longer requires a trip to the mall.

This year 2019, the e-commerce industry in the Philippines penetrated all areas of the market. This explains why various online shopping app joined the competition. Other nominees include Lazada, Zalora, Carousel, and Metro Mart
