DIONE shimmers with talent in their official MV for BLING BLING
Guess who’s here? It’s DIONE! And they have finally released the much-anticipated music video of their debut single, BLING BLING.
Formed around March this year, DIONE comprises four talented girls, namely Joyden, DK, Clara, and Ella. Three of which previously made up the group LUNA, now disbanded following a member’s hiatus.
In return, under the FirstOne Entertainment label, DIONE became the sister group of another P-Pop formation, 1st.One. Both recently took part in the lineup of the first-ever P-Pop Convention 2022.
And on April 07, the ladies officially debuted with a pioneer track titled BLING BLING.
DIONE launches BLING BLING MV
Announcing by surprise, DIONE first took to social media to promote the scheduled release of their first music video. By dropping individual and group photo teasers accompanied by a Twitter mention party, they sparked delight among fans. Meanwhile, they had an exclusive wish bus performance on April 26.
At last, on April 29, DIONE released the BLING BLING MV, featuring the girls’ gleaming talent in singing and rapping. They also showcased the choreography for the catchy track.
In an interview during the 2022 PPOPCON, members revealed the story behind BLING BLING. According to them, the song hopes to inspire everyone to reach their dreams and appreciate one’s worth despite hardships. Comparable to a jewel that shines, hence, the music title.
Additionally, DIONE has revealed the name of their fandom, now to be called TALI. It is derived from the word crystal, sharing meaning with the Filipino term for a string or rope. By the name, it signifies their connection to their supporters, wherever may they be.
As of writing, the BLING BLING music video has already garnered over 400,000 views. Good reception coming from casuals and fans continues to pour in.
