  5. Protect your skin from the ice by placing a towel or other barrier between the ice and your skin. This will shield your hands and face from injury.
  6. It’s best not to keep the ice on your skin for too long. Ice burn may occur when you are exposed to frigid temperatures for an extended period of time. Do it for about 10-15 minutes.
