Celebrities took to social media to paint their accounts pink last Thursday, October 7.
Angel Locsin, Enchong Dee, Janine Gutierrez, and more spread the color, showing support for Vice President Leni Robredo.
This comes after announcing her presidential bid for the May 2022 elections on the same day.
Additionally, the color symbolizes Leni’s new campaign color ahead of the upcoming polls.
Celebrities donning pink
For Angel Locsin, she posted a throwback photo of herself wearing a pink off-shoulder dress on her official Facebook page.
On the other hand, she shared a pink background on her Instagram Stories, with the words “women will govern” plastered on it.
Enchong Dee posted a photo of a pink towel on his official Twitter account while writing,
“Hope in the midst of darkness. Pag-asa sa gitna ng kadiliman.”
Furthermore, Kapamilya star Janine Gutierrez greeted everyone with a good morning on Instagram while showing off her pink ribbon tied to her hair.
Magandang Buhay host Jolina Magdangal posted a photo of herself and her husband Mark Escueta in a pink filter on her social media accounts.
Moreover, comedienne-actress Pokwang tweeted a pink ribbon, writing as the caption,
“My choice, my rights. Respect mine, I’ll respect yours,”
Also, Miss International 2005 and actress Lara Quigaman posted a photo of herself wearing a pink blazer and showing off her tumbler with the same color.

Leni, then, filed her certificate of candidacy for presidency hours after her announcement.
