The scandal involving Seon-Ho

The actor got caught in a scandal when a woman made a post on the Pann Nate website. The post claimed that he forced the girl to have an abortion last year with the promise of marriage and living together.

On Oct. 19, Korean media outlet SpotTV News reported that the woman is an influencer who previously worked in the broadcasting industry.

They added that the woman was active in broadcasting from the late 2000s to the mid-2010s. She left the broadcasting industry and is now running a commerce-related business.

Ex-girlfriend speaks up

“He would know just by reading this. I am his ex-girlfriend. We have been seeing each other since early 2020. It’s been more than four months since we broke up, and I thought he would sincerely ask for forgiveness once.”

The woman stated that she became pregnant with his baby in July 2020. She then expressed how she is both humiliated and terrified by the situation.

“I too was embarrassed and scared of a sudden pregnancy but I wanted to have a baby if the one I love gave me courage.”

She also shared how, then referred to as “actor ‘K’”, urged her to have an abortion. He allegedly told her, “If you have a child now, I have to pay 900 million won (about $762,000) in damages, and I don’t have 900 million won right now.”

The alleged lies of actor “K”

The businesswoman also narrated the alleged lies of actor “K”. Although at this point, it should be repeatedly mentioned that these are all still alleged.

“He even talked about his parents, and he said, ‘What if I can’t act because of this child, so even my parents sit on the street?’ In fact, I later found out that he didn’t even have to pay a 900 million penalty for having a baby but he persuaded her to have an abortion with lies.”

The woman said he promised he would introduce her to his parents. Along with other promises like they would live together next year and he would marry her in two years.

“I hesitated at that moment. I still regret that I didn’t have the courage to insist on raising a child on my own.”

She also alleged that she went through the abortion. Unfortunately, she also said that he did not accompany her to the hospital. Instead, he sent his acquaintance, sending 2 million (Php 86,000) for surgery and hospital expenses.

The woman said that after her abortion, the actor’s attitude changed. He broke up with her through a phone call.

“I would like to apologize for making a late statement with my fear of watching my own name constantly being mentioned in many articles.”

The actor then stated that he is very sorry to his ex-love and that he desires her forgiveness. He also acknowledged how wrong his actions were.

“Though we were in a relationship with good feelings to each other, I have hurt her with my carelessness and inconsiderate actions. I would like to apologize in person, but I am currently waiting some time to ask forgiveness. I would like to say sorry with this writing.”

Seon-Ho also apologized to his supporters and all of the people he worked with. The 35-year-old expressed how he knows that an apology won’t suffice but was very sincere about it.

“It seems like I forgot about the people who have supported me to become the actor Kim Seon-ho. I would like to, once again, apologize for causing trouble to the people who have worked with me. My writing is insufficient for an apology, but I would like to express my sincerity. I am sorry.
