Nachos
Nachos are a favorite snack in America, and they are often served with a variety of toppings, which is why they can suit anyone’s taste buds. They can also be served as a full meal! All you need is tortilla chips, cheese, and your favorite toppings. Toppings can be the fun part about making nachos. You can pick any type of meat but the most common is grilled chicken, steak, or pork.
You’ll also want to add items like tomatoes, jalapenos, black or pinto beans, olives, corn, onions, or whatever else you may like! After placing these items on top, sprinkle on your cheese and place them in the oven at 350F for about 3-15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
After you take the nachos out of the oven you can add even more ingredients like avocado, guacamole, sour cream, and salsa.
Pepper Jelly and Cream Cheese Bites
For a snack that is sweet with a little bit of heat, these are perfect. All you need is one can of Pillsbury Original crescent rolls, 4 oz of cream cheese, and 2 tablespoons of hot pepper jelly.
You’ll want to preheat your oven to 375F, spray a muffin tin with cooking spray, and prep your dough. First, lay out your dough in one large square and press all of the seams together. After doing this, take a pizza cutter or sharp knife and cut the dough into 24 pieces by making 6 rows by 4 rows.
After cutting the dough, you’ll press each individual square into it’s own muffin cup and fill each one with about a tablespoon of cream cheese.
Place the pan in the oven for about 9 to 12 minutes or until the dough is golden brown. After allowing them to cool for a few minutes, you can spoon in about ¼ teaspoon of jelly and serve!
This is a super simple snack that everyone will love.
To make it even easier on yourself, you can buy pepper jelly online that way it is always a staple in your pantry and available when game time comes around.
Bagel Pizza
Another easy snack that everyone will love are bagel pizzas!
Depending on if you want them as a snack or a meal will determine what size bagels you’ll want to purchase.
For bite size snacks, grab a bag or two of the mini bagels and for a meal use an average bagel.
Preheat your oven to 350F while preparing your bagel pizzas. On a sheet pan, lay out your bagel halves and spoon on about 1-2 tablespoons of pizza sauce. After your pizza sauce is on, you can sprinkle on as much cheese as desired.
If you want to make a variety of pizzas, add toppings like pepperoni, ground sausage, olives, and any other favorite pizza toppings.
After you have completely assembled your pizzas, place them in the oven for about 8-12 minutes or until the cheese is golden and enjoy!
