Scarlet Witch Is MCU’s Strongest Hero — And You Can’t Argue With That

No need to fan war because Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) named Wanda Maximoff a.k.a. Scarlet Witch as the strongest hero!

In a Q&A with New York Film Academy, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige confirmed that Wanda is currently the most powerful hero in the Marvel Universe. “I think it’s interesting, if you look at Endgame, Wanda Maximoff was going to kill Thanos,” he said.

“That’s as scared as I’ve ever seen Thanos, and if he hadn’t said Decimate my entire team to get her off of me, I think she would have done it,” he added.

“The title the “strongest Avenger” is something Thor clings to, but in Scarlet Witch’s case, “strongest” doesn’t refer to mere physical might. After all, Wanda will never win a bench press content against Thor, Hulk, or even Captain Marvel. Maximoff also doesn’t possess the sheer firepower found in the armored suits belonging to Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) or War Machine (Don Cheadle). In terms of what her powers allow her to do, however, Scarlet Witch does exceed her fellow Avengers’ abilities,” Screen Rant wrote.

It is indeed an ongoing debate for the fans on which is the strongest hero after the release of Avengers: Endgame. The latest film also became the highest-grossing film of all time.

Wanda, who is played by Elizabeth Olsen, first appeared in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” in 2014. Meanwhile, she was first officially featured in 2015 “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”

And for this New Year, sit back because we are expecting “WandaVision” an upcoming web miniseries on Disney+.
