Singer-songwriter and Asia’s Phoenix Morissette Amon, popularly known as Morissette, delivered yet another masterpiece with her version of ‘Colour Everywhere.’ With her refined vocal skills and the version’s rhythmic fairytale quality, the 26-year-old ‘homegrown diva’ undoubtedly gave justice to one of Deana Carter’s hits. “Thrilled to be reviving another classic,” Morisette wrote as she took to her Instagram account to happily share the latest release.

As the singer showcased her unique singing features, fans could not help but be in awe of her rendition. Morissette Amon served a distinctive approach, as though representing her individuality through this song. Launched under the Filipino record label Universal Records Philippines, ‘Colour Everywhere’ has more than 44,000 plays on Spotify. Its lyric video also garnered attention on YouTube, with netizens singing praises to one of the country’s ‘birit queens.’

“Her approach is so unique in the way she flips between clean tones, into breathy tones, from chest tones to head tones, to create her brand of dynamics. She has ‘elite level’ artistry. You know it’s Morissette once you hear her signature brand of phrasing,” one listener commented.

Starting at such a young age, Morissette continues to spread love and hope with each of her compositions. Just recently, she landed on the trending list for her ‘Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw’ song. A Sheryn Regis original, this rendition rose into fame once more after becoming part of the official soundtracks for “The Broken Marriage Vow,” a hit-drama series of ABS-CBN starring three of the renowned Kapamilya artists Jodi Sta. Maria, Zanjoe Marudo, and Sue Ramirez, among others.

Meanwhile, as of writing, Morissette has reached another milestone after having over 1.4 million monthly listeners on her Spotify. She will also join other artists in November to celebrate the launching of the streaming service Disney+ in the Philippines.
