Some of the country’s greatest Filipino singers are coming together for the much-awaited launch of Disney+ in the Philippines.

Disney+ is an official streaming service managed by The Walt Disney Company, a multinational entertainment conglomerate known for its 99 years of unparalleled storytelling. The platform offers subscription options and access to watch classic blockbusters, Hollywood hits, exclusive Korean dramas, and more movies and series.

Earlier this month, Disney+ revealed plans to extend its service to the Philippines. This news particularly gladdened Filipino fans, who are but huge admirers of foreign content like Disney’s. Hence, last Friday was more delightful when the streaming giant finally confirmed its upcoming arrival with a theme, “A Night of Wonder.”

Headlining the said event are Stell of the P-Pop supergroup SB19, Asia’s Phoenix Morisette Amon, and singers Janella Salvador, Zephanie, Zack Tabudlo, and Christian Bautista.

Moreover, Morissette previously recorded “Imagine More” as the theme song of Disney+ Philippines. In 2019, she also collaborated with Darren Espanto on a cover of “A Whole New World” for the nationwide premiere of the movie, “Aladdin.”

On the other hand, Janella had a similar collaboration with Disney in 2016. She performed an official rendition of “How Far I’ll Go” to mark the PH release of the animated film, “Moana.”
