Confirmed! ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’ whale have its second season in 2024
That is right, K-drama fans! Our beloved whale couple from the hit television series “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” will return to us sometime in 2024.
A legal-themed romance drama, Extraordinary Attorney Woo depicts Park Eun-Bin as Woo Young Woo, a brilliant lawyer with autism. While using her ability to handle cases in a top law firm, she crosses paths with Lee Jun Ho (played by Kang Tae-Oh), who will be her love interest.
In the finale aired last night of August 18, viewers saw some revelations surrounding the main characters. With both threats to the happy ending of the leads and the remaining loose ends of the plot, the concluding episode only foreshadowed a second season.
And as the fans manifested, South Korean news outlets reported an upcoming season 2 for Extraordinary Attorney Woo! The news is confirmed by ASTORY CEO Lee Sang Baek, who produced the series.
“Thanks to the support of many people, we will produce season 2 of ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo.’ The goal is to air season 2 in 2024,” Lee said.
Furthermore, the producer added that as long as no unexpected changes happen, the goal is maintaining more than 90 percent of the same members as now. Additionally, discussions will be needed to coordinate the schedules of the cast and the production team.
Following this announcement, fans rejoiced on social media. Particularly avid Filipino supporters who kept track of the show with admiration since its beginning.
Lastly, the Extraordinary Attorney Woo season 2 is highly likely to be Kang Tae-Oh’s comeback drama. He is set to undergo military service for two years.
Renzo is an introvert who prefers to do things at his own pace. Unlike most writers, he reads lazily. Watching Korean dramas at night is his constant source of comfort. Although oftentimes commended for being outspoken, he speaks better through writing than with his words.
