SICKENING NEWS! ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars 6’ just released its Meet the Queens!
RuPaul’s Drag Race never failed to excite fans with their new seasons. They recently concluded Season 13 where they crowned the Ebony Enchantress—Symone (All hail the queen!). And, now released an hour of goodness! It consists of the entrances of each contestant, the teaser promo, and of course, Rupaul’s Drag Race: All Stars 6 Meet the Queens.
The 19-time Emmy Award-winner remains no stranger to releasing multiple seasons in a year. In 2021 alone, 8 seasons are set to be released. Three in the first quarter, namely RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 13, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK 2, and the first season of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under. Then, the other five consist of this RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars 6, Drag Race Spain, Canada’s Drag Race Season 2, Drag Race Holland Season, and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK 3.
However, we are here to talk about the latest season: RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars 6. This season, we will see fan-favorites all across the whole franchise compete, with a format that remains gag-worthy. Hence, this part of the franchise has become dubbed the hardest. They have changed the format three times now. And, we remain uncertain if the production will apply the last alteration.
We have contestants from Season 2 until Season 12. Two of them are from All-Stars 1. And, one from All-Stars 2. The promo looks beautiful—with a concept of sunrise and sunshine. What are we waiting for? Racers, start your engines, and may the best all-star, win!
A’Keria Channel Davenport (Season 11)
Miss Ass-Almighty herself, who proved that she is a force to be reckoned with in her season.
She placed 3rd/4th in her season, with Silky.
Jiggly Caliente (Season 4)
This fan-favorite is best known for her sickening lip sync of Britney Spears’ Toxic and her charming personality.
She placed 8th in Season 4.
Jan (Season 12)
Jan is known as the robbed queen of Season 12. She always placed ‘safe’ in her season, not winning any challenges, despite always doing good, if not the best. Jan is a victim of the circumstances. She is my absolute favorite. Personally, I want her to win this season, but I don’t think that’s possible.
She placed 8th in her season.
Ra’Jah O’Hara (Season 11)
Ra’Jah is the feisty one in her season. She was usually part of the growing conflicts because she loved to stir the pot. However, here in All-Stars, I heard she’ll do good.
She placed 9th in Season 11.
Ginger Minj (Season 7; All-Stars 2)
Ginger, Ginger, Ginger… known for being a quadruple threat, as Michelle Visage put it. She is good at singing, acting, comedy, and glamour. Personally, I didn’t like her in her season for bringing down the younger queens. However, her talent is undeniable and I think she deserves better.
She was a runner-up in Season 7 and 8th in All-Stars 2.
Yara Sofia (Season 3; All-Stars 1)
Ugh, I love me some Yara Sofia! If you have read my article where I ranked the 12 seasons of Drag Race, you will remember how I think she deserved better in her season. Her emotions got the best of her. She is very very talented—funny, beautiful, and an underrated fashion queen. I am very thrilled to see her here. I hope she gets to re-introduce herself here to new audiences and go far in the competition.
Yara placed 4th in her season and 5th/6th (it was a team All-Stars season) in All-Stars 1.
Silky Nutmeg Ganache (Season 11)
Silky, the mortal enemy of Yvie Oddly—the winner of Season 11. She was the villain of that season. I was rooting for Yvie back then, but now, I just wish Silky destroyed her more for shading Taylor Swift. Yvie called her a white mediocrity when she won a Grammy. She even brought back her past trauma with Kanye. Chile, I hope Silky gets her revenge in here.
She was known for her big personality and funny snatch game performance of T.S. Madison. Also, as mentioned, the villain of her season.
She placed 3rd/4th in Season 11, with A’Keria.
Pandora Boxx (Season 2; All-Stars 1)
Pandora is another OG in this season. She is best known for being a comedy queen, specifically her funny snatch game performance of Carol Channing.
She placed 5th in Season 2 and 11th/12th in All-Stars 1.
Scarlet Envy (Season 11)
Ah, what a beauty. I am a fan of Scarlet Envy, because of her fun personality and great acting skills. For me, she didn’t deserve to go home in the episode that she sashayed away. I hope she gets her rudemption in this All-Stars season.
She placed 10th in Season 11.
Serena Chacha (Season 5)
Hey, here’s Serena Chacha, best known for her Untucked moment with Detox. The latter was pissed off because of her kid-like personality (well, she was young at the time). She bragged about being in an art school in her season but failed to prove it. However, I heard she is a very sweet person.
She placed 13th in Season 5.
Kylie Sonique Love (Season 2)
What a beauty. Kylie (formerly more known as “Sonique”) is best known for being the first openly transwoman contestant on the show. She is a fierce entertainer and has proved herself to be very talented. I heard she will do well in this season, as she should.
She placed 9th in Season 2.
Trinity Kardashian Bonet (Season 6)
TKB in the house! Trinity is best known as the lip-sync assassin of her season. She had three lip syncs and won two of them. However, all those three are regarded as some of the best lip-syncs in the history of the show. She is very talented and I can’t wait to see how she performs here.
She placed 7th in Season 6.
Eureka (Season 9; Season 10)
Eureka, you found it. Best known for her big personality, popping her knee in Season 9, so she came back to Season 10, her snatch game of Honey Booboo, and one of the main hosts of We’re Here. She is very talented, in my opinion, but always gets hate for being too loud.
She was a runner-up in Season 10.
Well, there you have it. All the contestants of All-Stars 6. Who are you the most excited to see? Who do you think will win? I am most excited about Jan, Trinity K. Bonet, Scarlet Envy, Kylie Sonique, and Yara Sofia. However, the crown will be either for Kylie Sonique or Ginger Minj. (I hope Jan gets far too huhu)
Catch this new season on June 24th! Watch the queens’ entrances, the teaser promo, and the Meet the Queens here!
