SEVENTEEN to hold a two-day concert in Manila this October 2022
South Korean boy group SEVENTEEN is returning to Manila for their “BE THE SUN” World Tour in October 2022. This will be a two-day concert in the Mall of Asia Arena on October 8 and 9.
Their label, HYBE, made the announcement via a YouTube video on Wednesday, June 15. The Philippines will be part of their tour, other Asian country includes Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore.
BE THE SUN WORLD TOUR
The group finished their promotion for their third studio album, “Face the Sun”. This tour follows their latest album, hence the title “BE THE SUN“.
Their agency, Pledis Entertainment, first announced the first leg of the world tour on May 17. According to the announcement, they will start their tour in June 2022 in South Korea. Then, they are going to perform in 12 Arenas in North America this August. After that, their Asian tour will start in late September.
Meanwhile, their last concert in the Philippines was last February 2020, a month before the Philippines was placed on lockdown. So, their fans, carats, are excited to see the 13 members face-to-face once again. However, ticketing details are not yet available.
