Pia Wurtzbach ribs her acting in the 2003 film ‘Kung Ako Na Lang Sana’
Pia Wurtzbach went down memory lane of her early acting career last Saturday, September 11.
It comes after a netizen posted a photo of her in the movie Kung Ako Na Lang Sana starring Aga Muhlach and Sharon Cuneta.
This caught the attention of the beauty queen and actress, suddenly recalling her then-amateur acting abilities.
Moreover, Pia told the netizen,
“Yes!!! […] Hirap na hirap akong patuluin luha ko [diyan kasi] ‘di naman ako marunong […]. So, ‘yan na lang. Confused look. Charaught!”
Some netizens were entertained by Pia’s response, with one asking if she would do a teleserye soon.
On the other hand, others went back into her past acting stints while one added, in jest, that she deserves a Best Actress award.
Pia’s early acting credits before entering pageantry include All My Life, All About Love, and an episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya, among others.
In 2015, she triumphed at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant, with her coronation being infamous in the event’s history.
At the end of the show, host Steve Harvey mistakenly announced Colombia’s Ariadna Gutiérrez as the titleholder.
Harvey, then, retracted his announcement, saying he misread the results, ultimately declaring Pia as the winner.
Since her victory, Pia ventured into hosting and returned to acting.
She currently hosts the travel show Pia’s Postcards and has hosted the dance competition World of Dance Philippines.
She has also starred in the Vice Ganda film Gandarrapido: The Revenger Squad.
Her recent acting credit was in the film My Perfect You where she starred alongside Gerald Anderson.
What do you think of Pia’s acting in Kung Ako Na Lang Sana? What about her recent acting credits? Can you compare both and see how she has improved?
