Here’s the list of medicine you should take note of to save yourself from any trouble according to Arshie:

Meclizine 25mg (Bonamine) – To prevent and treat nausea, vomiting, or dizziness associated with motion sickness especially when traveling. Take 1 tablet of this, one hour before traveling for 24-hour protection.

Antacids – To relieve hyperacidity, heartburn, and indigestion, by reducing the amount of acid in your stomach.

  • Kremil S- chew 1-2 tablets are taken one hour after each meal and at bedtime.
  • Gaviscon liquid sachets – Take 10-20ml of the liquid formulation after meals and at bedtime.

Hyoscie-N-Butylbromide (Buscopan) – To soothe painful stomach cramps, especially lower belly pain. Take one tablet of this every 8 hours as needed.

Paracetamol 500mg (Biogesic) – To reduce fever and alleviate mild or moderate pain such as headaches, toothache, and sprains. Take one tablet every 4-6 hours as needed. The safest option for pain relievers since the side effects are also rare.

Ibuprofen 400mg (Medicol Advance 400) – To give relief of pain. Take this orally and for short-term use only. Take one soft gel capsule every 8 hours, as needed.

Cetirizine 10mg – To relieve hay fever symptoms and other allergic conditions such as allergic rhinitis or skin rashes. Take one tablet once a day at bedtime.

Oral Rehydration Salts/ Solution (Hydrite, Vivalyte. Pedialyte) – To treat dehydration after experiencing diarrhea or vomiting. This will quickly replenish fluids in your body.

Loperamide 2mg (Diatabs, Imodium, Lomotil) – To treat diarrhea especially short-term diarrhea and irritable bowel syndrome. Take two capsules initially for the first loose bowel movement, followed by one capsule after each bowel movement
