‘Make tech fun again’: Nothing Phone (2) soon hits the shelves
Nothing releases its newest device, the Nothing Phone (2). Disrupting the tech world once again with its unique take on modern smartphone design.
For starters, the iconic Glyph Interface makes a comeback. Now improved with more addressable LED zones, providing more utility than just strobing lights for ringtones and notifications.
One of the addressable LED zones can be used for a visual timer and progress tracker for third-party apps, as well as adjusting volume.
The transparent back panel is now curved and has edges that blend into the aluminum frame, providing a more ergonomic feel.
More powerful chipset and camera
The Phone (2) is now officially a flagship phone featuring the top-of-line Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset. This serves as a huge upgrade from its predecessor, the Phone (1)—which had the midrange Snapdragon 778G+.
It still has a dual-camera setup, but the main lens is now upgraded. It now boasts a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 with support for optical and electronic image stabilization, helping users get gimbal-looking shots.
Bigger display and long software support
The device is now even bigger with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display and with 120Hz adaptive screen refresh rate.
When it comes to software, the Phone (2) runs on NothingOS 2.0 that focuses on minimalism with dots and matrix—truly a fresh breath of Android.
The company guarantees three years of major Android updates and four years of security patches, released every two months.
Pricing and availability
The Nothing Phone (2) sets you back PHP 38,999 for the standard (12GB+256GB), and PHP 44,999 for the maxed out (12GB+512GB) model.
The Phone (2) is dropping soon via Digital Walker.
