HONNE Asia Tour is coming to the Philippines!
Alt-Pop duo Duo Andy Clutterbuck and James Hatcher, known as HONNE, are going to the Philippines after 4 years!
HONNE announced that they will perform in Manila, Cebu, and Davao for their May 2023 Asia Tour. The first show will start in Manila, at the Araneta Coliseum on May 10. This is to be followed at the University of Southeastern Philippines in Davao on May 12, and at the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu on May 14. HONNE will also be delighting fans in Taipei, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur as part of their Asia Tour.
HONNE in a nutshell
Andy and James formed HONNE shortly after being good friends at their university. The name HONNE came from the Japanese word 本音, meaning “true feelings or desires”. In 2014, HONNE released its debut album “Warm on a cold night” in 2016, which received international recognition. Love me/Love me Not followed in 2018, which contains some of the duo’s popular songs like “Me & You” and “Day 1”. HONNE also caught Coldplay’s Chris Martin’s attention, singing their song entitled “Somebody That Loves You”.
Their music can best be described as lofi feel-good music, spanning different themes about romance. The Telegraph defined HONNE as a “futuristic soul destined to re-invent babymaking music“, which perfectly describes their 2021 album “Let’s Just Say the World Ended a Week from Now, What Would You Do?”. The album contains collaborations with known artists like Khalid, Niki, and Pink Sweats.
