Mizael sings post-Valentine’s Day Blues with new single “Dahan-Dahan”
Rising star Mizael follows his first single “‘Wag Naman” with an equally heart-wrenching ballad entitled “Dahan-Dahan” under Universal Records Philippines.
While “Wag Naman” focuses on self-love in a slowly dying relationship, “Dahan-Dahan” tells a story about letting go. The singer describes the song from the perspective of a person who’s given everything for their love but is ready to slowly let that passion drift away for their partner’s happiness.

The song describes the feeling of a daunting realization in a relationship: recognizing their happiness can only be achieved without you. This realization comes with the understanding that letting go is the only way to move forward. Although it shatters your heart to do this, you move on for their and your sake, with only memories, what if’s, and doubts left behind.
