4th VP Choice Awards – Converge, J&T Express, Toktok, iWantTFC, Pokemon and Sachzna Laparan are big winners under the Business category
Winners of more than 25 awards under the business category are unveiled at the 4th Village Pipol Choice Awards’ night. This happened last March 29, 2023, at the Glass Garden, Pasig City.
VP Choice Awards acknowledges the reigning finest from the travel, lifestyle, entertainment, technology, and business industries. The 2022 installment welcomes the theme Supernova: Our Brilliant Burst of Light. It signifies embracing our burgeoning blast after an era of compromise. It also signals the return of the much-anticipated red carpet and awards night.
Meanwhile, nominees for the 4th VP Choice Awards are examined based on these criteria: fifty percent comes from online voting, thirty percent from the editorial team’s decision, and twenty percent from the expert panel.
Furthermore, the board of judges comprised showbiz-lifestyle YouTuber Albert Bryan Abelido, orthodontics expert Dr. John Alex Glenn Crespo, and seasoned blogger Justine Montas. Likewise, actress-entrepreneur Kyra Custodio, celebrity hairstylist Mark Rosales, market researcher Martin Penaflor, and gadget coach Peter Jan Icago joined the panel.
Aside from the brightest stars, and influential talents of the country, brand executives are also present to share the night of glitz and glamor and, of course, to receive awards as Pipol’s favorite.
Converge – Pipol’s favorite Internet Service Provider
Converge ICT Solutions Inc., commonly referred to as Converge reigns supreme as Pipol’s favorite Internet Service Provider of the Year. This award goes to an ISP that provides reliable internet connectivity and services. These include accessing, using, or participating in the internet organized in various forms. Furthermore, these comprise commercial, community-owned, non-profit, or otherwise privately owned.
J&T Express – Pipol’s favorite Courier Service
J&T Express is an Indonesian logistics, and express delivery company that expanded in the Philippines in the year 2018. Today, the company is considered one of the front-runners in the logistics industry in the country. J&T Express was voted by the Pipol and awarded Courier of the Year. In view of the fact that, they demonstrated innovation, convenience, and quality shipping service to people and businesses.
Toktok – Pipol’s Favorite Transport App
Toktok is a Filipino-made app for safe, hassle-free deliveries, transportation, and ordering your needs online without the need to go out. Last year, the company launched Toktokgo as a new gameplayer in the growing demand for transport apps. Toktok was voted and awarded the Transport app of the Year. They offer a high-quality mobile application that provides convenient transportation and delivery services to its loyal consumers.
iWantTFC – Pipol’s favorite Video Streaming Service.
iWantTFC is a Filipino over-the-top content platform and production company owned and operated by ABS-CBN Digital Media. iWantTFC was voted by the Pipol and awarded the Video Streaming Service of the Year for hosting and producing an impressive selection of content with a growing library of premier original programming that outclasses every other streaming service.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet – Pipol’s favorite Role-Playing Game
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is the ninth generation and the latest mainline video game developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company for the Nintendo Switch. Having built a pop culture, and strong following, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet was voted by the Pipol in the Philippines and awarded the RPG of the Year.
Sachzna Laparan – Pipol’s favorite Entrepreneur
Sachzna Laparan is a social media star, actress, vlogger and CEO to S by Miss Flawless. She was voted by the Pipol and Awarded Entrepreneur of the Year for showcasing her passion for recognizing opportunities while generating innovative and creative ideas for her business.
