VP Choice Awards acknowledges the reigning finest from the travel, lifestyle, entertainment, technology, and business industries. The 2022 installment welcomes the theme Supernova: Our Brilliant Burst of Light. It signifies embracing one’s burgeoning blast after an era of compromise and signals the return of the much-anticipated awards night.
Meanwhile, nominees for the 4th VP Choice Awards are examined based on these criteria: fifty percent comes from online voting, thirty percent from the editorial team’s decision, and twenty percent from the expert panel.
Furthermore, the board of judges comprised showbiz-lifestyle YouTuber Albert Bryan Abelido, orthodontics expert Dr. John Alex Glenn Crespo, and seasoned blogger Justine Montas. Likewise, actress-entrepreneur Kyra Custodio, celebrity hairstylist Mark Rosales, market researcher Martin Penaflor, and gadget coach Peter Jan Icago joined the panel.
Thus, the combined decision of the public and deliberation of the judges led to determining the conquerors of almost 100 accolades presented for the 4th VP Choice Awards.
Pokémon reigns Pipol’s Favorite for both the Games and Animated series.
Pocket Monster aka Pokémon bagged the RPG (Role-Playing Game) of the Year in the recently concluded 4th VP Choice Awards. The newest mainline game of the Pokemon series “Pokémon Scarlet and Violet” bested other favorites such as Elden Ring, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Marvel’s Midnight Sun, Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, and Pokemon: Legends Arceus.
Last year, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Pokemon: Scarlet and Violet both breaks every Nintendo record with 10 million copies sold within 3 days after its worldwide release date.
Meanwhile, the PokémonUltimate Journeys: The Series has won the Anime of the Year. It is the longest-running anime series in the world.
Last year, the anime made worldwide headlines with Ash Ketchum, the series’ main protagonist became World Champion after 25 years. The Ultimate Journey was also the last season for Ash and his trusted Pokemon partner, Pikachu who both officially bid goodbye to the anime series last March 24 of this year.
Moreover, Klariz Magboo aka DJ Kara the original Filipino voice actor of Satoshi (the Japanese name of Ash) was present at the 4th VP Choice Awards night along with Theo Monteverde of Infantree, the master license of Pokemon in the country to receive the award on behalf of the Pokemon Company in Japan.
