‘WE ARE MARRIED!’: Morissette Amon ties knot with Dave Lamar
Musician couple Morissette Amon and Dave Lamar finally announced their marriage via Instagram posts.
Flaunting their wedding pictures, Amon revealed that it was hard trying to keep the big news a secret for the past several months.
“we are so happy to finally officially announce that WE ARE MARRIED! it was so hard trying to keep this a secret for the past several months, but we’re finally Free! what a ride it’s been, @davejlamar !!!!…”
The ‘Asia’s Phoenix’ also expressed her appreciation to Lamar for being the ‘true north’ of her life. She added,
“…to the stars and the Moon, I love you my Husband! thank you for being my True North through it all, holding my hand as we journey through this life together. And I can’t wait to keeping going Up and Away and experience it all with you! ❤️❤️❤️”
Prior to her announcement, Amon posted a glimpse of her revelation. She used a caption, “THE BIG REVEAL on www.youtube.com/MorissettePh ❤️🤵👰🌹💍” The emojis say it all, right?
Meanwhile, Lamar displayed their momentous photo on Instagram. He added a caption underlining his feelings of being ‘overwhelmed and blessed’ that God led him to Amon.

The pair then shared a “wedding film” on Amon’s YouTube page, giving followers a peek of their special day. The video included footage from the couple’s wedding held at The Old Grove Farmstead in Batangas. The film also captured their moments singing a song they crafted.
Despite the rain, Amon went down the aisle in a white off-the-shoulder Michael Leyva gown, while Lamar wore a gray suit by the same designer.
“I vow to be the music to your lyrics, the rhythm to your blues, the cream to your coffee, the peanut to your butter, the fire to your ember, the sun to your sky, the stars to your moon, the smile to your tear and finally, I vow to always be your best friend, your safe place, your home,” Amon said in her wedding vows.
