Vilma Santos-Recto, Maricel Soriano, other celebrities pay tribute to Susan Roces
Local celebrities showed their appreciation to the Queen of Philippine Movies, Susan Roces. At the age of 80, the veteran actress passed away yesterday, May 20.
Vilma Santos-Recto, known as the “Star for All Seasons,” expressed her message in an Instagram post. “Rest in peace, Ate Susan. Maraming salamat! We will miss you. We love you,” she said.
On the other hand, Maricel Soriano posted a throwback photo with her. “Mama Susan. Mahal na mahal kita,” the Diamond Star said.
Meanwhile, the actors of “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” paid tribute to the passing of their co-star. Roces played Lola Flora in the hit television series.
In a post, John Prats shared the good memories they had with Roces on the set.
Lorna Tolentino also posted some old photos of Roces and Fernando Poe Jr. together. She said, “I will hold you in my heart. We will miss you. Maraming salamat sa pagmamahal Tita Susan. Our love and prayers.”
In addition, John Arcilla shared a video with the veteran actress. “Goodnight to the Queen of the Philippine Movies. We will all miss you Tita Sue,” he stated in the caption.
Julia Montes also posted the handwritten letters she received from the veteran actress.
