Watching almost every romantic film that comes out, we have heard countless times of one promising to reach the stars for the love of his life. Even though it thrills our romantic comedy-loving hearts, at the back of our minds, we know for sure that it remains just a deep expression of love. But witnessing how Rizal Park Hotel Ballroom in Manila welcomed the celestial bodies inside, Design Therapy Experience by MJ Mendoza (DTE) took it seriously.
As a premier event styling company, DTE wanted to turn Mica Costura’s dream debut into a reality accurately the way their team and the debutant’s family envisioned it—create and live the fantasy of one starry night in varying shades of the deep blue space where white and warm lights glow. And that is exactly what the event styling company served, turning the whole ballroom hall into a completely different dimension as they invited not just the stars but the celestial bodies one could think of.
Summoning the Stars: Planning Mica’s Debut Celebration
To achieve the starry night dream, they needed the stars in just two weeks, and so Design Therapy Experience summoned them! Mica wanted blue to dominate the vision for her debut celebration, sharing that it is her favorite color and allowing the event to also mirror her character and personality. From there, the starry night and celestial fantasy were born.
Through the use of cutting-edge technology, Design Therapy Experience by MJ Mendoza, once again proved their commitment to delivering excellent service and brilliant designs that match the visions of their clients. And this time, to give Mica her dream debut through summoning the stars and taking the space and all its celestial bodies down inside Rizal Park Hotel Ballroom. After finalizing the concept, the team began working on the details to provide Mica a vivid digital vision for her party.

From the mood board to the digital blueprint of the event styling, Design Therapy Experience by MJ Mendoza took Mica into her dream world underneath a starry night glowing in the deep blue vast sky. This process surely thrilled Mica even more to take her family and friends into the dreamy dimension that became vivid through softwares and innovative services offered by DTE.
Mica Dances Underneath the Starry Night
Deep blue skies… glowing stars… celestial bodies—all in one—these elements dominated the entire hall as the day came for Mica to finally see her visions realized beyond the digital world.
With an elegant mirror path down the aisle of the ballroom graced by purple flowers, the entrance led to a circular stage, where bright white lights that seemed to be from the moon shed every time Mica graced it. This platform separated the mirror path from the entrance and the other leading to the main stage. And this is where she danced and seized every moment with her friends and family underneath the starry night.
Meanwhile, the element that probably caught the eye and hear not only of Mica but anyone who entered this world that Design Therapy Experience by MJ Mendoza created: the hall’s ceiling that turned into a space with an illusion of its vast stretch, where the stars and planets aligned to Mica’s vision. Elegant lights placed in intricate designs made the ballroom brighter as if the stars really went down to grace the moment.

Beyond the Stars
While the premier event styling company turned the entire hall into another starry and celestial dimension with their creativity and innovative measures, DTE worked beyond the stars. The team and the debutant made the celebration even more fun and memorable for everyone through other services that offered remarkable souvenirs and chill drinks.
Probably most debuts can’t be complete without the 18 cocktail shots. But underneath Mica’s starry night, cocktails and mocktails are for everyone! And so Vintage Pub On-The-Go graced the event, offering smooth and chill drinks for all until the last drop. Meanwhile, to make the event even more memorable, Sens8tion, a perfume bar souvenir, gave all the family and friends present perfume of their choice, taking them back to the special moment every time they use it and completing the whole vision of Mica for her debut celebration.
