Two Filipinas gears up for Miss Chinese World 2023
In an exciting turn of events, two Filipinas will be competing in the same international pageant and will both represent the Philippines. Berjayneth Chee and Anie Uson will go head-to-head as they vie to win the title of Miss Chinese World 2023.
With the pageant formally announcing their participation, it’s definitely interesting to see how things will turn out.
To get to know our beautiful representatives, here’s a quick introduction to the both of them.
Two Filipinas gears up for Miss Chinese World 2023
The first of two is reigning Miss Chinatown 2022 Berjayneth Chee. A 23-year-old model and biology student, Berjayneth is also a pageant veteran. Competing in Miss Earth Philippines 2018, she finishes as part of the elemental court, bestowing the title of Miss Water Philippines.
For the competition, she will specifically represent the province of Misamis Oriental.
Meanwhile, the other Filipina in the game Architect Anie Uson Chen. Finishing as a Top 12 finalist during Mutya ng Pilipinas in 2018, Anie was appointed by the organization last March.
Hailing from the capital city, she will be representing Manila.
For those who don’t know, Miss Chinese World is an international pageant which promotes tourism through experiences of Chinese Culture as well as fostering friendships and love.
The pageant also gathers “young Chinese beauties from around the globe in the celebration and remembrance of Chinese culture, values, and traditions.”
The pageant will be staging its finals on May 20 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
