Thailand wins Miss Planet International 2023
The land of smiles is definitely beaming with pride as Thailand’s Min Worawlan wins the title of Miss Planet International 2023. Succeeding Maria Luisa Varela of the Philippines, she becomes the first Thai woman to win the crown.
Besting over 40 other candidates, the pageant’s coronation took place on November 19 at the Koh Pich Theater in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

A 27-year-old English Communications graduate from the Thai province of Phayao, Min previously competed at Miss Universe Thailand 2023.
Initially placing in the Top 10, she was relegated as 3rd runner-up a few months later. It was also during this time that she was eventually appointed as Miss Planet Thailand 2023.
Finishing as 1st runner-up is Loraine Lumatelli of Brazil while Kateryn Kim Diep of Vietnam comes in as 2nd runner-up.
For the runners-up, filling those positions are Yumiko Nishimori (Japan), Alina Garaeva (Russia), Angelica Briceno (USA), and Marian Perez (Venezuela).
Meanwhile, Philippine representative Chesca Nicolas finishes among the Top 27 semifinalists.
