Sparkle Run 2026 Makes History as the Biggest Celebrity Run this Summer
Sparkle GMA Artist Center makes history with its first-ever Sparkle Run at the Quirino Grandstand, bringing together thousands of runners, Kapuso stars, fitness enthusiasts, and fans in a landmark celebration of wellness, entertainment, and community spirit.
From the break of dawn until the final performance, the star-studded event transformed Manila into a vibrant hub of fitness, fun, and Kapuso energy as participants took on the 3K, 5K, 6.6K, 10K, and 16K race categories. #SparkleRun2026 shot to No. 1 trending across social media, with race-day highlights, celebrity moments, and finish-line victories continuing to flood timelines.
Biggest Kapuso stars
The event drew the country’s biggest Kapuso stars, including Alden Richards, Barbie Forteza, David Licauco, Gabbi Garcia, Ai Ai Delas Alas, Pokwang, Max Collins, and Dingdong Dantes. Joining the race as well were Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition ex-housemates Mika Salamanca, Will Ashley, Dustin Yu, AZ Martinez, Vince Maristela, Josh Ford, and Charlie Fleming, plus hundreds of other Kapuso artists, all of whom brought additional star power and excitement.
One of the most anticipated moments of Sparkle Run 2026 was the recognition of the event’s Top Celebrity Finishers per category: Clifford (3KM), Royce Cabrera (5KM), Ashley Rivera (6.6KM), David Licauco (10KM), and Martin Javier (16KM).
Off the course, the race village delivered its own kind of thrill—live performances from Garrett Bolden & Accento Band, Paul Salas, Dollipop, Vianna Ricafranca, and also Cloud 7; non-stop games and sponsor activations; and the overflowing loot bags runners couldn’t stop talking about. Moreover, raffle prizes included Xiaomi gadgets, a Dyson Wash G1, a Smartboard Lite 55-inch display, hotel stays, and the grand prize: a 13-inch MacBook Air.
Hosts Martin Javier, Hannah Arguelles, Yza Uy, and Betong Sumaya kept the energy electric all day, with Sparkle’s First Vice President, Ms. Joy Marcelo, lending her presence to mark the occasion.
