K-pop icon Sandara Park turned to a social media post for a nostalgic tribute celebrating the 14th anniversary of her former group 2NE1.

On Wednesday, May 17, Sandara marked the milestone on her Instagram page by sharing a series of throwback pictures. The photos captured some remarkable moments from their journey as pioneer K-Pop girl figures in the idol industry.

It was in 2009 when 2NE1 debuted in the music scene with a legendary hit Fire. Since then, the group, also formerly composed of Minzy, CL, and Park Bom, gained massive recognition and success. Their triumph is attributed to innovative music concepts and fierce performances that restructured the typically sweet girl band image.
