Ritz Azul tied the knot for the second time around

Are two weddings in a month even possible? Definitely yes! After the most talked about marriage of Actress Ritz Azul with long-time fiance’ Allan Guy, the celebrated couple has done a second ceremony in Club Paradise in Coron, Palawan.

Ritz revealed that the reason why the first one was in Baguio is to not risk her family members while traveling. The actress said,

“It was all about keeping our family and friends safe and healthy during this pandemic. If it’s so romantic and intimate in Baguio, we want it to be casual this time around. It’s just a celebration of our union.”

We might want to know the reason why; after all, it was as grand as it could be in Alphaland, Baguio. But it was her ultimate dream to have her wedding in Palawan, and no one could stop a determined woman.

Also, they wanted to share the entire island with their loved ones and celebrate their special day in an intimate setting. Imagine yourself getting married by the beach breathing in the fresh sea breeze with a picturesque background. It must be magical.

Flowy and Casual is the Theme

It’s just a small-scale affair since it’s pandemic as per the couple. All they want is a perfect second day just for them and a tight group of families and friends. If it was all glitz and glam in Baguio, this time around is a totally different story.

It was a weekend getaway of a wedding with some known celebrities as guests like Miles OcampoMeg Imperial, and Daniel Matsunaga to name a few.

We can only imagine a creamy white wetsuit to have a unique look, but they opted to choose something floaty yet festive with a touch of elegance. It’s a sandy shore anyway, and you want to tap the elements of the free earth.

Laidback Look

“We want it casual and use breathable fabrics,” Celebrity Stylist Cath Sobrevega explained. Ritz wore a perfect ensemble by Mak Tumang.

As per Mak, the gorgeous gown was inspired by Madame Gres’s drapings, white sheer tulle gown with cape, treated with dye-sublimation for the gradient nude effect, painstaking pleated on the bodice to achieve the client’s request “goddess look.”

As per the look of the bride, Celebrity Make-up Artist Nikki Duque shared,

“I took inspiration from the gown so if you could see although it’s bronzy there’s a hint of the sheen of old rose to have one cohesive look.

“Since we’re on the beach, I want to show her bare skin and not cover her freckles and beauty marks, subtle and not overly done, and for the lips, it’s nudish old rose with a sheer gloss to match her glowing morena skin.”

The hair is the woman’s crowning glory, and she was styled like a Queen. Celebrity Hairstylist Mark Rosales said,

“Since it was formal during the Baguio wedding, we want it to be more of her. We did a natural, casual, and laidback look. To elevate it and match the flowy gown, I added a simple hair twisting in a half ponytail.”

It’s the same for the guests, so a Maxi number and breezy silhouettes paired with sandals or barefoot dominated the event. After all, it’s weird to wear a full glammed tux and a total glam on gown by the beach.

When you’re doing a wedding by the beach, it can connect you to something greater. That might be the goal for such a casual and freely look.

Night to Remember

The intimate wedding was serenaded by a quartet of violinists, which paved the way for a piece of soft-ambient music during the ceremony and the dinner reception. A curated live music playlist made the night something to be remembered.
