Nadine Lustre is the latest Filipina to be featured at Times Square, NYC
Multimedia star Nadine Lustre has “made it to NYC.”
The 27-year-old singer-actress has been featured on a Spotify billboard at Times Square, New York City. Nadine graced the billboard for Spotify’s new campaign EQUAL. Of course, she shared a photo of a huge digital billboard in Times Square showing her face. She also remained one of several female artists or creators featured, as part of Spotify’s just-launched EQUAL Music Program. The international campaign, then, aims to “foster equity for women in audio.”
Along with the inaugural 35 women artists receiving playlist support and marketing, among others, according to Billboard. Other artists include Thai singer-songwriter Bowkylion, and Indian artists Shalmali and Sunidhi Chauhan.

Among the performers also include Moira, Morissette, Sarah Geronimo, Regine Velasquez, KZ Tandingan, and Elha Nympha. Nadine is the chosen face of the Philippines.
Careless label chairman James Reid also congratulated Nadine via his Instagram Stories.

He, then, shared details behind the EQUAL campaign.
“EQUAL is Spotify’s new global commitment dedicated to foster equity for women in music.”
In December 2019, Nadine signed with Careless Music. In October last year, she also released her visual album Wildest Dreams. Then, she became actively promoting the passion project with performances and brand tie-ups. The album marked her first music release as a self-managed artist, after departing her former talent agency at Viva Entertainment.
