MMJ Magno Twins Releases Latest Single ‘Mundo ng Pag-Ibig’
MMJ Magno Twins, Melmar Magno (MM) and Meljohn Magno (MJ), just dropped their latest single, ‘Mundo ng Pagibig,’ a fresh and exciting dance track!
MMJ Twins on Love
Last November 13, Red Music by Red Entertainment officially launched the twin brothers’ song live on Kumu. ‘Mundo ng Pagibig’ is a piece of electronic dance music (EDM) track with an upbeat sound guaranteed to get you moving.
The three-minute and fifty-eight seconds song conveys a simple message about being in love. In an interview, MMJ Magno twins said the song describes eliminating the fear of falling in love.
“Do not be afraid to fall in love a-g-a-i-n.”
Furthermore, MM & MJ said that the track is different from their usual genre of music.
“We are known for our music genre techno-pop, RnB & reggaeton. This song is different, it’s pure EDM which makes this song very special to us.“
When asked about the songwriting process of the track, the artists admitted that melodies suddenly form in their minds after listening to the music arrangement several times.
“We create the music arrangement first, then we listened to it many times. After that, melodies just popped up in our heads and then we start to write the lyrics. First, we write the chorus part then the verses, then the bridge.”
Comeback for MMJ?
MJ and MM Magno were part of a Filipino boy group named XLR8 that debuted in 2010 under Viva Records. They performed the song ‘You’re so Hot’ on the stage at Party Pilipinas and dropped their first studio album, “XLR8.”
Two years after, the group eventually disbanded. However, the twin brothers MMJ continued working in the music industry with their first debut studio album ‘Daleng Dale’ in 2013. More recently, MMJ also released their first digital single ‘Babababoom’ (2016), followed by ‘Tayo Pa Rin’ (2020) and ‘Akin’ (2021).
The twins bounce back again in November 2021 with their latest release, ‘Mundo ng Pag Ibig.’ And it seems like the brothers have no intentions of quitting their passion for music.
“We’ll continue to write songs to inspire and to send positivity to people using our God-given talent in songwriting.”
