Miss Universe Philippines and their roommates throughout the years
In this year’s Miss Universe Pageant, it appears as though a strong duo is rising to prominence. And it features no other roommates Miss Philippines Celeste Cortesi and Miss Italy Virginia Stablum.
A match-made combination, considering both have Italian origins, they’re definitely in good company. Celeste has an Italian father and a Filipina mother, while Virginia has an Italian mother and a Nigerian-German father.
As expected, their chemistry made quite a stir among pageant fans with many labelling them as “#RoomieGoals”. Miss Universe eventually catches on and just recently, uploaded a video of the two.
It’s understandable that they got along so well so soon given our warm and friendly personality. However, this isn’t the first time it’s happened.
In the past, we’ve seen our candidates form a special bond with their roommates. For proof, check out the full list below.

In a competitive environment like Miss Universe, establishing strong friendship is very important. Even though earning the crown is the ultimate aim, the candidates’ sisterhood is something they may treasure long beyond the pageant.

As a city and a beach person—when the sun is out—expect Vee to spend hours getting lost in the concrete jungle or laying by the shoreline with both finishing the day by watching a beautiful sunset.
