Selin Hernandez is Miss Progress International Philippines 2023

2022 has been quite a blissful year for appointees and queens that have been given a chance to represent The Philippines. Adding to the list is Selin Bautista Hernandez who has been appointed as Miss Progress Philippines 2023. The announcement came during her official crowning and sashing ceremony on December 21. Passing her the title was Miss Progress Philippines 2022 and Miss Progress International-Human Rights 2022, Zea Awatin.

A business management student and model from Macabebe, Pampanga, Selin also immerses herself in various social and community activities. Organizing a drive to collect reading materials and school supplies, Selin participates in several outreach programs held in far-flung places in the country.

An advocacy fitting of the pageant, Miss Progress International stands to promote projects concerning Health, Human Rights, Environment and Cultural Integration.

Selin will be the country’s official entrant to the pageant’s 9th edition. Happening on September 18, 2023, Selin is fighting to bag our country’s second Miss Progress International crown.

Jedaver Pancho Opingo became the first Filipino to clinch the title, winning in 2017. She was also present during Selin’s special ceremony.
