Another strong contender in the midrange category?
Infinix launched Zero 8 in the last week of August 2020 in Indonesia and it is dubbed as the most capable midrange of the brand. The device features a distinct-looking design with a 3D curved glass-like back panel. It has a prism pattern in Black, White, and Green. You can also notice that it has an enormous diamond camera hump.
In that camera island, you’ll find a capable quad-camera setup with an LED flash. It includes a 64MP Sony IMX696 main cam + 8MP ultra-wide cam + 2MP Bokeh cam + 2MP Ultra Night Video cam.
In the front, Infinix continued its pattern of using massive screens. This time, it sports a 6.85-inch LCD large screen with FHD+ resolution, 90Hz smooth refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and a dual punch-hole for the selfie cameras.
In the punch-hole area, the handset uses a 48MP main shooter + 8MP ultra-wide dual-cam. Similar to the back modules, it can shoot up to 4K videos. It can record up to 4K videos and 960fps slow-motion videos.
Inside, it has powerful mid-range specs. It uses the gaming-ready 2.05GHz 12nm MediaTek Helio G90T octa-core processor paired with Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU. This is the same SoC solution found on the speedy realme 6.
In addition to that, it has 8GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage via microSD, and a 4,500mAh battery with USB-C 33W fast charging. The device also sports a power key that doubles as a fingerprint reader, face unlock tech, dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, OTG, FM Radio, GPS, GLONASS, and dual SIM slots. The phone runs with Android 10 OS with XOS 7 skin and measures 168.74 x 76.08 x 9.07 mm.
In Indonesia, the handset retails for IDR 3,799,000. There’s no news yet regarding the exact date of its launch here in our country. We’ll keep you guys updated!
