Hit Musical “Ang Huling El Bimbo” set for 2023 Comeback
Attention, theater fans! The hit musical show “Ang Huling El Bimbo” that we all love, is finally making a comeback in 2023.

The Newport World Production Full House theater just announced the theatrical comeback of the said musical show. Along with is the announcement for an audition for the show’s main characters.
Full House theater is now searching for adult and child actors for the role of Anthony, Joy, and Emman. Moreover, they are looking for acting talent for the role Ligaya, she is Joy’s and Andre’s daughter. It is accompanied by female and male musicians.
“Hindi mo na kailangan and magtago’t mahiya!”, as they post a quote on Instagram, for the aspiring theater actors and actresses. For them to be cast, the requirements are the following: a 3-minute audition video, a half-body photo, and a curriculum vitae

Reminiscing “Ang Huling El Bimbo” Musical Through The Years
It’s their comeback, let us have a little blast in the past, shall we?
Ang Huling El Bimbo is a story of friendship, growth, and love through the songs of the band “Eraserheads”. The musical was first staged on July 20, 2018, at Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. Written by the amazing Dingdong Novenario and beautifully directed by Dexter Santos.
The story follows the journey of the three friends named Emman, Anthony, and Hector who had a mini-reunion 20 years after their college graduation. Flashback scenes revealed their younger versions, from how they met in a dormitory in college to how they parted in different directions in life. Also, as the challenges, they encountered along their journey.
The musical show’s most recent performance was way back in 2019. It gained so much popularity in 2020 when it released a pre-recorded for free on different social media apps like Facebook and Youtube.
In 2021, they had a homecoming concert with the main cast Tanya Manalang, Gab Pangilinan, Reb Atadero, Phi Palmos and Bibo Reyes.
