Greenhills Night Market 2022 is a spectacular moment
It’s the time of the month, again! San Juan City’s perfect destination for celebrating the Holidays is back for the Greenhills Night Market 2022. Growing up as a San Juaneño, this colorful festivity becomes a tradition that I am always looking forward to. There may be changes, but it is undeniable that this is the season where we savor the spirit of Christmas. This year, another spectacular moment awaits each and every one.
Merry Moments
Who says we’re too old for Christmas and celebrations? I don’t! With this year’s theme, Merry Moments, family and friends enjoy a get-together gathering in the streets of San Juan. Anyone is definitely welcome to see the colorful decorations and parols that illuminate the night market experience.

Food Stalls and Tiangge
A night market wouldn’t be complete without the stalls! Filled with varieties of cuisines and clothing, I just couldn’t stop looking around without spending to fill my shopping bag. It’s kinda hard to say NO when vendors say the magic word, “Suki, bili na kayo!” But whatever, we only get to spend once in a while during Christmas after all.
Games and Prizes
If you cannot find a place to relieve the perya fun, then I assure you this night market has it! The place is quite small, but big enough to create new memories to cherish. As someone who doesn’t have enough time to travel and look for peryas, seeing them makes me jump from excitement. What a great night to heal my inner child!
Rides and Performances
“Madali lang sumakay diyan, maliit lang naman,” but boy, I was wrong! I never expected how we could also find a thrill inside a mini ride. I guess I underestimated the mini vikings too much, and didn’t predict its power to turn my insides upside down!
Aside from the rides, the stage performances are also exciting! During my visit, a rusty living statue in a gown welcomes everyone with a dance whenever someone throws in a coin. Indeed, it was entertaining to watch, especially when little kids came forward to observe her motionless figure.
Christmas season only happens every once in a year, so make sure to spend the December breaks well! You can stay warm at home or wander around in the night breeze. And you might also want to add this market stroll to your holiday list!
