Good news: You can now visit Luneta Park again, but for limited time
National Park Development Committee announced in a Facebook post that they will once again open Luneta Park to the public. However, there are areas which will still remain closed.
Guests who will engage in the following activities: jogging, walking, cycling, and tai chi, are the only ones allowed within the Promenade area, as it is open for exercise from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m.
The entrance and exit can be found at the Rizal Park Visitor’s Center and Senior Citizen’s Garden, both in T.M. Kalaw street.
Proper and strict health protocols should be observed upong enterting Luneta Park‘s premises. Visitors are mandated to finish a health declaration form before stepping inside as well as undergo a thermal check and those with temperature above 37.5 C will be sent home.
Moreover, they are also required to wear face masks at all times and practice social distancing. Gathering of 10 people above will not be allowed while vendors remain prohibited inside.
Earlier this week, SuperRadyo dzBB reporter Isa Avendaño-Umali have already seen people exercising at the park early in the morning.
BASAHIN: Binuksan na muli ang Luneta Park sa Maynila, makalipas ang ilang buwang pansamantalang pagsasara dahil sa Luzon lockdown.
Pero ayon kay @NPDC_PH Exec. Dir. Cecille Romero, "we're opening a portion of Luneta pero strictly for exercise only from 5:00am to 9:00am." @dzbb pic.twitter.com/4SXQz61QLK
