GMA previews teaser for mega series ‘Mga Lihim ni Urduja’
GMA Network on Tuesday launched the promising preview for Mga Lihim ni Urduja, dubbed their mega series of 2023.
The show stars Kapuso leading ladies Kylie Padilla and Gabbi Garcia. Meanwhile, Sanya Lopez will play the titular role of Urduja.
Looking back, the same actresses top-billed the 2016 acclaimed fantasy series Encantadia along with Glaiza De Castro.
GMA Network presents Mga Lihim ni Urduja
Based on semi-historic evidence, Urduja is believed to be a legendary warrior of ancient Pangasinan called Tawalisi. As the daughter of a chieftain versed with unmatched fighting skills, she becomes the leader of an army against its opponents.
Moreover, the newest mythical series will follow the quest to find Urduja’s missing jewels. In consequence, the adventure of the characters results in slowly unraveling the mystery behind the heroine’s life, whose legend persists in the present time.
The introduction of Urduja‘s myth revealed every character in the 30-second teaser. Aside from the drama’s known historical touches, it gave the viewers thrilling and suspenseful impressions based on sneak action scenes.
Meanwhile, also part of the cast are Zoren Legaspi, Jeric Gonzales, and Vin Abrenica in his first Kapuso project. Likewise, Michelle Dee, Kristoffer Martin, Rochelle Pangilinan, Arra San Agustin, and Sunshine Dizon will appear in the program.
Mga Lihim ni Urduja is one of GMA Network’s prime offerings for 2023, replacing the timeslot for Maria Clara At Ibarra.
It is set to have its world premiere this February.
