Female-centric programs to stream in iWantTFC for Women’s Month
Several shows created by and are about women will dominate iWantTFC in honor of celebrating Women’s Month.
iWantTFC is a leading Filipino streaming service provider owned and operated by ABS-CBN Digital Media. The merger of iWant and TFC Online resulted in its establishment in 2020. Since then, it has served as an alternative platform after the network was deprived of its franchise.
This March, iWantTFC will join the female empowerment movement by featuring films and series promoting the significance of women.
Female-centric programs to stream in iWantTFC for Women’s Month
In an article published by ABS-CBN News on Monday, iWantTFC will reportedly introduce several special selections for the initiative. The news portal also discussed what viewers could anticipate from these new categories.
For instance, a selection called In Celebration of International Women’s Day will spotlight the characters given life by Cherry Pie Picache, Angel Aquino, Lovi Poe, and Janine Gutierrez. They headlined the projects Call Me Tita, Glorious, Malaya, and Sleep with Me, respectively, exemplifying “grit, selflessness, and resiliency.”
Meanwhile, prime leading ladies Bea Alonzo, Angelica Panganiban, Bela Padilla, and Angel Locsin top bills the Queens of Philippine Movies. Here, movies like The Unmarried Wife, One More Chance and Unofficially Yours will teach viewers about healing and independence.
On the other hand, iWantTFC handpicked the acclaimed works of Olivia Lamasan, Antoinette Jadaone, Mae Cruz-Alviar, and Cathy Garcia-Molina for another collection. Movies by Female Directors will showcase films like That Thing Called Tadhana and Hello, Love, Goodbye, among others.
